I read Hunger Games last August and really liked them. They were fun and easy to read and had a pretty interesting/intriguing plot. I let Lindy borrow the first book when she was in town a few months ago, not knowing if she'd like them or not. After a day she had finished the first one and was wanting the two books that follow in the series. I mailed them out to her and she read those super quick too.
My mom ended up reading the books, as well, and suddenly Hunger Game fever was catching on. Ashlie read them and even had her class read them. Martin listened to the audio book and I forced Sherri to read the first book.
Amy's baby shower was going to be the day after the movie premiered, which we would all happen to be in town in Modesto for. We decided to all watch the movie Friday night in Turlock and Ashlie even went out and bought our tickets beforehand so we wouldn't have to worry about it being sold out.
We got to the theater a little early.
Okay, like 3 hours early.

I vote team Gale :)
We had a great time and it was a very fun environment because everyone in the theater was so into the movie. People were cheering, whistling, clapping, etc. I am very glad we were all able to see it together :)
