So . . . one of my best friend's, Amy, got engaged a little over a week ago to her boyfriend Fredy. Congratulations to the both of them and we get to look forward to another wedding in the future! It looks like I'll be passing on the wedding magazines and I can't wait to go through it again but this time not as a bride, which I think will be nice. It should hopefully be a little less stressful and more fun :)
We also were able to go to Amy's graduation at the end of May from CSU Long Beach where she received her Master's in Education. Her parents were also there to see her graduate and to help her move out of her apartment here and get ready to go back home to Modesto. It was a really hard program that Amy was a part of and it kept her super busy, but at least now it's done and she's got her Masters. Congratulations!
Kevin's birthday was at the beginning of June and he received some gifts from my parents, including the usual underwear and undershirts and a cool Playstation game. I got Kevin one of those memory foam pillows that are supposed to help your back and a Bob Marley pack of CD's. We also saw the Star Trek movie . . . yah, didn't think Kevin could talk me into it but it was his birthday, so I sucked it up and went. It also wasn't really that bad ha ha. Then we went out to dinner at Zazou, this nice restaurant about a block from our apartment. It was really good and we had been meaning to try it for awhile and it was definitely worth the wait.
