So, this has probably been one of the craziest and most "surprising" weekends ever. Kevin's birthday was on Thursday, June 3rd and that night we went out to Underground and played some great shuffleboard. Our friend Marisa graciously made Kevin a chocolate and raspberry cake and we had a great time - and Kevin loved the cake.
I also gave Kevin his birthday gift [or at least part of it] and gave him golf balls and told him I was buying him a round of golf with our friend, Uly. So Friday morning I woke him up early and told him to get his stuff so I could take him to the course - however, once there, Uly had new clubs that I had bought for Kevin as his real birthday present and surprised Kevin with them. He had no idea and was so excited to have new Nike clubs.
Then, to top it all off, Martin and Ashlie came to visit this weekend so we could surprise Kevin with a surprise party on Monday, June 7th. It was located at Restaurant Christine's and most of all the important people in Kevin's life were able to make it there. Brooks even drove from Santa Barbara to come as well as Lindy - who drove there that day and also left to go back to Santa Barbara after the party. Now that's love. :)
He had absolutely no idea and was so shocked [and a little overwhelmed] when everyone yelled 'Surprise' to him haha. He was very excited, though, and everyone had an amazing time. Dinner was great, Seth was awesome as our server [and friend] and had our friends there to celebrate with.
