Jessica Simpson Movie

Howdy . . . well due to the internship I was doing at Millennium Films, I was able to go to the set of Major Movie Star which is Jessica Simpson's new movie. They just had to film a few extra scenes to wrap up the movie so it was pretty cool. She was right there, in front of me, doing her thing and so when the movie comes out, I'm going to be like, hey, I saw that getting filmed! It was a little slow and not a lot to do for most of the time we were on the set, but it was just cool to be there. I also got my camera back - or at least, a new one that the company paid for. It's basically the same thing but a little different - and it's bright pink :) We also went to Lobster Fest last Saturday with our friend, Anthony who is a bartender at Kincaid's with Kevin. After that we met up with Carrie, another girl we work with at Kincaid's and we played a little shuffleboard. Of course, the girls won as you can see from the picture of me and scoreboard :) Well everyone . . . hope you're having a great week!!

Rough Day

Yesterday was a long crazy day. First of all, Kevin just bought his new car about three months ago and had to take it in to get serviced and apparently they say that he needs new breaks already. So we were pretty bummed out that we already had to pay for new brakes so soon. Then we get back to the apartment complex and Kevin sees that my bike isn't where it usually is in the garage. Now, I've just gotten this beautiful new bike like three weeks ago so I'm pretty upset that obviously someone stole it. Then we walk around the side of the building and see a car parked with about three bikes in the trunk and another bike stuffed into the backseat with a wheel poking out the side door. I immediately realized that this bike in the backseat was mine from the pink/white tire. So of course I run over there and I'm like, that's my bike! You're stealing my bike! And I think that since I obviously found my bike, that I'm going to get it back. But instead, the two guys who were doing the stealing were like middle-aged crack heads who weren't even paying attention to anything we were saying. We just tried to tell them to leave the bikes and they could go, we didn't care but they kept trying to drive forward, which was into a wooden fence. They didn't seem to comprehend that they couldn't get away, they were at a dead end. But in the process they kept banging my bike into a side fence because they were stuck and then they turned left, driving into another dead end and ran the side of the car into a tree, continuing to destroy my bike. Ultimately they knocked over a pole that was holding up a balcony and they took the bikes out of their cars and ran them over on their way back out of the apartment complex. Sadly, now no one gets to use this bike because they are completely destroyed. It was crazy because we kept calling the police to tell them that we had these guys on the property, they were stuck at a dead-end for over twenty minutes before figuring out how to get out and still, the police didn't come for at least another twenty minutes after that. To make a long story short, the bad guys got away but the police have their license plate number so we'll see what happens. I'm posting pictures of the "crime scene" to show that these guys did some property damage to the apartment complex as well. This wooden fence got busted in a few places and a pole was knocked over and you can see the caution tape haha. If my bike has to get stolen, at least it's stolen with some excitement and a story. Hope everyone else is having a better day! haha
