After a long night out in New York for Carrie's friend's birthday, we were out and at 'em to head to Washington D.C.
Lindy and Carrie decided to dress super stylishly in their PJ's for the bus trip
So tired - can barely open my eyes
We had a pit stop in Delaware along the way - which was great since our friend Jared lives here now and I can give him a hard time in that I was in his state and he didn't visit me :)
After four 1/2 hours, we are in D.C.
We booked a trolley tour before we left and were able to get right onto that from the train station
Ford's Theater - can't wait to come back and do a tour of it
After a stop off the trolley, checking into the hotel and back onto the trolley, we made it to downtown and onto our other tour to see the monuments at night
However, it was nice to see some of the monuments before it was actually dark
Me, Carrie, Lindy
You have no idea how many takes this took
White House
Next up was Iwo Jima - much bigger and more impressive in person than I could have imagined
The Air Force Memorial
A-tten-tion!
Jefferson Memorial
Where's the Washington Monument?
Jefferson
The new JFK Memorial
Lincoln Memorial
At the Mad Hatter restaurant for dinner
Lots of healthy dinnner
Sexy time - fun robes from the hotel
Delirious
Just a fun Saturday night in D.C.
The hotel - bright and early
Off to the White House
Just a little Sunday morning at the White House
World War II Memorial
Holocaust Memorial
We had a brief Instagram crisis where Carrie couldn't approve Sherri as her friend - we spent a lot of time working on fixing this while on the bus back to New York haha
Overall, Washington D.C. was amazing and I can't wait to come back and do another trip of the East Coast - D.C. was so great and I would love to spend more time there
